Nutrisystem Free Foods

FREE FOODS LIST
There are Free Foods that can be used on the NutriSystem plan. The term Free Foods comes from the American Diabetes Association.
They are low calorie foods (20 calories or less) that can be added to the meal plan in small amounts. This minimal amount of calories will not affect weight loss, but we do recommend that they be limited to 2 or 3 servings per day if the foods have any calories at all.

Closing Doors

Baby Zak has learned to close doors...and open them. He closed himself into the bathroom last night. Of course, he started crying when he found himself alone in the dark bathroom.

Today, his new love is to close the kitchen door. It amazes me that he can wedge his little fingers to open the door up when he wants.

Now if only he would learn to sleep.....

Pre-Mom vs. Mom Life

Being snowed in, sans husband, with baby, I can't help thinking about all the things I miss from my pre-mom life.
1. Going to the bathroom according to my schedule (not baby's) and staying for as long as I want...shower, paint my toes, whatever.
2. Sleep, sleep, sleep
3. Movie marathons
4. Not having to race to daycare afterwork.
5. Self-ish ME time.
On the other hand, the things I love about my mom life
1. Racing home from work to see my little guy.
2. Crawling in circles around the apartment.
3. Tickle-time!
4. That little stomping crawl when he comes to find me.
5. Cuddling up to read Dr. Suess.

Blizzard '06

I knew it. Everytime my husband goes off to Tunisia without me....we get a big blizzard. Last January, this February. He isn't going solo in winter again. We got close to 18 inches here in Brooklyn. Not sure how easy it will be to get to work tomorrow....but I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere today.

Zak and I are going to play inside all day. Maybe rearrange some furniture in advance for the arrival of the new couch next week.

All Things Pam

This will be my spot to rant about the various parts of my life....my diet...my kid...my work...my findings...
